Candy Expert

And yes, she really is a candy expert, as of Easter she knows all the best kinds of jelly beans.

I said, what does your shirt say and she said "A... A.... A...." and I said, it says "candy." Which was a big mistake, because she kept asking for candy for the entire night.

Ponytail

Izze Day 81

Izze's growing up so much. Today I pulled her hair in pigtails, like I do many days, but she pulled one out and lost the elastic... I had to improvise. We were getting new tires and everyone knows you cannot sacrifice THE CUTE when out in public... EVER. I pulled all of her hair back into one high ponytail. I can't believe it stayed.... I can't believe it was so cute... I can't believe how big she is.

I love this little lady.

We caught THE PLAGUE a few days ago, it was awful. On St. Patrick's Day Izze started the day off just fine, in her cute new green shirt from Old Navy

then in the car on the way home from my dance class she started throwing up all over. It didn't stop for the rest of the night and clear on through the morning. It was sad to see her throw up in her sleep. It scared me too, I barely slept I was worried she'd suffocate on her throw up.

Of course in the morning Jeremy had a really high fever and was achy from head to toe... he had caught the plague. I was fine... but something in my head told me I wasn't going to be. So while my little lady and sweet hubby were sickies and even Titus was throwing, I cleaned the house while I still could. Then it hit me... I threw up all night. Izze was better by then and she thought torture was in order. Until she realized that every time we got up to run to the bathroom it wasn't a game, she'd come and watch us... she' weird. Sometimes she'd hug our arms or touch our back... but then she was off.

It was our first experience of both of us being sick with a totally healthy child... the house was clear evidence of this. Both Izze and Titus destroyed it, ripping up toilet paper IN. EVERY. ROOM. Titus thought it would be a great time to revert to peeing on something.

AWFUL STUFF!!

Me and Izze and Titus are back to 100% but Jeremy still has a bit of a cold and no voice.

It's days like those that really press me to keep our family a one kid family.... I mean among other things, but if I was on the fence that would have been the call. MAN! haha.

This is so cute. (click on the picture to see it bigger) Izze loves to "draw" and "color" last night she was drawing on some paper, lying on her belly. Then Grandpa came and showed her how to draw funny faces. She really loved it. It was adorable.

Of course she's got a piece of purple tulle wrapped around her waist, because she was asking to wear it.

What a fun little lady.

Izze and The "Baby"

Izze and her ugly doll
Originally uploaded by kalliparkin

The other day we went shopping with my mom at Old Navy. We were disappointed... we had missed the BIG 40% off sale and there was NOTHING there. So we decided to see if TJ Maxx had anything. While browsing through the kids section a big ugly doll caught the eye of little Izze. I showed it to her and she didn't want to put it down. She loves babies, but this one was pretty ugly. We skimmed through all the other dolls to try and find one she might like better... and that maybe wasn't so hideous to look at. Izze pretty much only loved that one baby. I thought we could talk them down a bit on the price, because it wasn't in the package and it was dirty.

When we got it home, and Izze was asleep, I gave it a hair cut and style and changed it's outfit. VOILA!!! A cuter new doll. Izze still loves it. She carries it from room to room and pushes it in her stroller and she tried to get me to put my baby carrier on her so she could wear her doll. I have to find a pint sized baby carrier now.

Izze is growing up so fast it's scary. She does so many cute things.

The other day at her doctor visit she weighed 22 lbs a year ago, she was just 11 pounds.

I need to post videos soon.

Kalli and Izze Day 49

I really love Izze's hands in this picture. She loves for me to put my hair in her face and shake it, she's always loved it, since she was a little a baby. I could giggle her all day.

We're both sick right now, so we're cooped up at home and we can't even go see Izze's new little cousin Kyson and we love him a lot already! Hopefully we get better soon!

Izze's been a big helper lately. With laundry she hands me clothes to put in the washer, sometimes she'll drag a basket to the laundry room all by herself. Then she helps me with dishes, she hands me the silverware to put away. And she understands so much now, if you tell her to put something away, she usually knows right where it goes. If we say get a diaper, she can lead you to it, when we take off her clothes she knows they go in her laundry basket. I love to watch her grow.

:D Being a mama is the best job in the world.

We moved.

After much consideration, Jeremy and I realized selling our house quickly and renting an apartment would be better for us for a bit. I feel like we've finally settled in. We moved just around the corner from our home into a basement apartment. It's sad to leave our first house and it's a little discouraging to go back to renting, but it's the best thing for our family right now. I can stay at home with Izze and we can save money. We're going to probably build a house this next time and it won't be until after Jeremy has his own store, we thought that day would come a lot sooner.

We really love our new apartment, there's soooo much space for Izze and Titus to run around and there's CLOSETS!!! And a ton of storage, things Jeremy and I never really had before. There's even a dog door for Titus. It's really great for us. Next thing: pay off the car, that is just draining us... let this be a lesson, don't buy a new car off the lot!!! haha!

Unfortunately Izze some how got a hold of our stash of memory cards and thought she'd give them a bath in Titus' water dish. So my project 365 came to a stop for now and there's not any pictures of our new place yet.

As far as new Izze things, she can say "bath" now and she can make a bunny face and a fish face, she can also do a somersault. This baby is nuts!!!

Sorry there's no cute Izze face to hold you over, but I still thought I'd give a quick catch up.

Izze knows pretty much all of her body parts and will point to them or show them when asked. My favorites are "show us your tongue" and this is what she does. Or "where is your brain" and she points to her head.

She can also shake her bum and spin spin spin. My little monster is getting so very big.
